path override for this computer is invalid

Post by drtbar »

I did a clean wipe of one of my workstations, and now trying to reinstall Open Dental from the server to the client box, but keep getting this error when I know the path is correct.

I did as the manual suggested and opened the server folders in windows explorer and navigated to the folder to be sure I had the permissions to access it and I'm still getting this error.

The login screen pops with my office logins up so I'm know I'm connecting to the server, but for some reason I cannot access the A - Z folders.

Please help!!

Nm, I figured it out.

Both lines of the path section were populated and the second line that said "usually blank" I cleared out to leave it blank as suggested and that worked.

Dunno why I got stumped on that easy step.
