Hello,
I have a doubt regarding how we could get the free appointment times available.
I saw the post on the forum about how we can use GET Schedules and GET Appointments to find the available times for appointments (viewtopic.php?f=9&t=8334).
My doubt however, is in the way how GET Appointments Slots is any different from the suggested method on the forum, is there a benefit of using one over the other? I understand there are blockouts involved in Schedule, but it seems that the blockouts are not involved in Slots.
Our client has their OD setup done in a way that Blockouts are similar to AppointmentTypes and appointments of a particular type go in that particular blockout section. However, "LUNCH" which is a blockout, that time period does not show up in Slots, whereas the other do. Why could this be the case?
Can anyone give an insight into why this is and give some advice on which strategy is best or if possible, a combination of all these APIs could be possible to get results?
Thanks!

Re: Finding free appointment slots
Blockouts can be flagged to allow scheduling of appointments (Setup > Definitions > Blockout Types). Blockouts can then be attached to Appointment Types (Setup > Appointments > Appointment Types > Allowed Blockout Types). Both can be found in the AppointmentTypes and Schedules API.
