Lately I haven't been able to scan directly or import images (after scanning) into OD. OD just stops responding. Anyone else having this behavior? Thanks

You should be getting a nice little error message that says "Unable to save document:". My initial hunch is to blame permissions on the OpenDentImages share. Running Open Dental as admin works around that (some of the time). If everyone has the correct read / write permissions to the share, I'll need a little more information. Let's start with the import click cause it's less complex. Is this from all computers or just one workstation? After clicking Import, do you get the Open file dialog window (where you choose the file to import)? Does it only lock up with a certain file extension (you can't import pdfs but you can import txt files)? Do you ever get to our Item Info window (where you can add a description to the file being imported)?
The best thing about a boolean is even if you are wrong, you are only off by a bit.

I semi-figured out the problem. The scan would finish, but OD would freeze before the doctype dialog box appears. Well the scanned file eventually appeared after 5 minutes or so. Same for importing. Strangest thing: I had switched out a USB wifi adapter to instead use a cat6 1Gbps connection on the frontdesk computer. As soon as I switched it back to wifi, the issue went away. Yeah, I'm stumped as to why the problem arose. For what it's worth, DHCP connections with no IP conflicts. Thanks.
