version 6.9.10 Chart

Post by Rickliftig » Wed Dec 30, 2009 9:39 am

Using - Direct x -Missing teeth and graphics for implants, crowns and endo are not showing. On the surface of the tooth is the traditional circle with five surfaces as seen in teh simple tooth chart. Draw lines do remain however. No problem enlarging the screen.

The missing info is available in Open GL mode.

Also, I am getting a fair number of Unhandled exception errors: Tooth ID not valid
"Continue" hangs the program (just the chart part)

Of course, it really helped when I installed the run-time version of DirectX.... Doh!

Never mind the previous posts- looks great, works great - very fast re-fresh.

And where did you find the "run-time version of DirectX"? That's the part we've been having trouble with. We need to supply a file to our users for download and installation, so if you found a file that works, we would love to know about it.

But I did the same thing and it didn't work. Do you happen to remember which page on the MS website you used?

OK, thanks. That appears to fix it only on some machines. Not one of my test machines.

switching to "OpenGL" graphics options fixes this.

some (presumably older) of my machines don't want to get fixed by the directX download, either.

the "Invalid Tooth ID" needs another thread
