We have been using open dental for i think 7 years now. We apparently have been charting tooth surface watches, so beginning cavities, as status "treatment planned" instead of selecting "conditions". Is there a way to convert a specific codes like say Ztooths that is in open dental to denote a surface watch from status treatment planned to a status of conditions instead to get them off the treatment plans?
On a side note why does open dental allow this in the first place. A tooth surface what should always be set as a condition never as a treatment plan i think or is there a reasoning behind this?
Conditions not auto defaulting to condition status?
