Does anyone have experience with using DentiMax sensors and imaging software bridge with Open Dental?
I have read lot about XDR in forums here but have seen hardly any mention of DentiMax sensors. How are these sensors in comparison to XDR - quality and price wise? Any insights?
Thanks

Re: Dentimax sensors
Same sensor I believe. One uses Apteryx and the other XDR. The difference other then software regarding the actual image quality will be related to the software x-ray filters that XDR and Apteryx use to produce an image. I don't know if Dentimax has it's own x-ray filter.
Dentimax the software is Apteryx.. but branded.
VideoDental should be similar to this.
All use the same sensor manufacturer... but different software\filters. The filters do make a difference in the image quality. I would also take into consideration of your x-ray head. If it's an old AC head... you probably won't get that brochure image you might expect.
