Post by brentwood » Tue Apr 21, 2009 9:00 pm

I have "CrnPrFNm Prosthesis" as missing info for a claim I want to send electronically. I know CrnPrFNm is the abbreviation for D2752. But I don't know what is missing here. I sent claims withe same missing info through postal mail befire. Insurance companies never complain. Could you tell me exactly what is mssing? Thanks.

There are two areas where you need to make sure the correct info is entered for a prosthesis. First, on the claim it usually asks if this is Initial placement or reason for replacement. Second, and this is the one we would miss, is in the CHART module, under the procedures for the patient it also needs to be entered as well. Double click on the procedure and on the left side of the new window is the area that you maybe missing the info. If it's not these two areas, I'm stumped.

That solves the problem! Thanks a lot. Strange thing is that I need to do it on both chart and claim.
