Entering scaling and root planing

Post by mzrdmd » Tue Nov 10, 2009 5:48 am

Is there an easier way ?

I'm currently typing in 4341 four times, then going to the treatment plan, clicking on 3 of them, and changing the quad from UR to UL, LL, and LR on them.

Is there an easier way ?

Not that it's a big deal, just asking.

Thanks,

Mike

Yes, there is an easier way. Set up one procedure button with 4 of the same code on it. When you then push the procedure button, since it's a quadrant code, OD will automatically recognize it and put each procedure in with a different quadrant.

I have been having this problem too.

I expected that if I clicked a tooth in UR quadrant and then Quadrant scaling, OD would choose UR quadrant, or if I click a tooth in each quadrant, OD would select 4 quadrants.
Would the solution be similar to how it works for radiographs, with each additional?

It just works by setting up a procedure button. Really.
