Billing issue v5.6.12

Post by savvy » Wed Apr 02, 2008 12:35 pm

Yesterday I updated to ver 5.6.12.
When I went to print the patient statements, the right side commenced with a counting of statements printed, but instead of having statements coming out of my printer (HP LaserJet 4050TN), I got the first statement in pdf on the screen.
I then had to select PRINT from this page, again selecting the HP, to finally get paper statements.

Is this the way it now is?

Cheers!!!!!!

Perhaps my question was confusing, since there are no replies.
I'll try again.....

With all versions including 5.6.11, when I went to print statements:

1. Selected the patients which we wanted statements generated for.
2. Pressed send ( or print, I don't recall what it said).
3. Chose the printer
4. Printer would print statements

Now, with version 5.6.12 AND 5.6.13......

1. Selected the patients which we want statements generated for.
2. Press send
3 Choose printer
4. An additional window appears with a PDF copy of the statement.
5. Select the PRINT icon
6. Choose printer
7 Select ALL in the print range section of the printer box
8. Printer prints statements

Is this the way it is intended to work?

Cheers!!

Never mind......

When in doubt, READ THE DIRECTIONS

Cheers!!!

Perhaps to avoid confusing anyone else with this .......
One of you techies could remove the first option for choosing a printer since there is no reason to do so at that time in the process.
