Hey, so let's say i refer a patient to get all of his wisdom teeth out, or multiple extractions. I want to be able to put it on one referral slip, is there a way to do that?
Currently, for each procedure that i want done, and am referring out, i need to edit the proc by changing from tx plan, to referred out , and then clicking on the "..." and adding the doc im referring to. but i can't figure out how to put multiple procedures on the referral slip..
what am i missing?
thanks
multiple procedures on one referral form
Re: multiple procedures on one referral form
I'm in no way a Referral expert so there might actually be a way to do this but from a database perspective I do not see a way to create a Referral Attachment with multiple procedures. It seems to be limited to one at a time.

There might be some nifty workaround that other users on the forum have figured out but in the meantime I would highly recommend creating a feature request for this. I think this would be a very nice enhancement to the program.

The best thing about a boolean is even if you are wrong, you are only off by a bit.

Re: multiple procedures on one referral form
I have scanned in a copy of the referred to Dr's referral slip. For example, one of the oral surgeons in the area has a tooth chart graphic, so I placed a checkbox over every tooth. When I refer, I check the boxes, but also follow up with a text box based note. Then I sign the referral slip with a signature box. The (Referred) procedure in the chart stays in-house and does not need to be jiggered to send out.
And these days, I make sure to write out the referral to confusion is avoided ie) please extract UL 3rd Molar #16.
best,
Rick
