adobe acrobat forms for exams

Post by jrpappy » Tue Apr 06, 2010 12:03 pm

Could the adobe acrobat forms described in the help section of the website be used to create fillable forms for use chairside? I have an extensive NP exam form that I use and I'm finding it very time consuming to create it in Sheets. Wondering if it would be easier to create in Word, convert to fillable PDF, and save it in pt records.

That section of the manual is not complete. That's probably not the best approach. Why not turn your existing form into an image, and stick that on the background of a sheet? That's how sheets were intended to be used.

I have done that and it works quite well. the only problem is in the notes sections of the form. Sometimes I need a lot of space, but can't grow a text area in a static image. I'd just allow for more space, but my form already takes up most of the two pages. Can the sheets be made larger than two pages 8.5 x 11 pages?
