A/R report question.

Hi guys.
I have a question about AR breakdown report.
I see the columns "Total" "-W/o est", "-Ins est", "=PATIENT"
Will pre-determinations sent to the insurance affect these rows or these are strictly the numbers for the work that has been done?
Thanks

Because we don't have the ability to enter payments on capitation claims, the workaround is to mark the plan as a PPO. Remove automatic backups

Hello there, I was reviewing mysql backups that I have and noticed a weird thing. While I have a script doing a structured backup jobs daily I found there were several backup archives there were not created by my script. These were full database dumps as if I did them through opendental menu. Except...

Changing the computer that is allowed to run updates.

I noticed that right now all the updates are allowed to be checked for and installed from one computer. Having a listener service installed on a different computer brings a problem now with the listener service. The workaround I found is to uninstall the service, then run the update from the setup f...

eRx issue. Unable to transmit due to account configuration.

Hello, I'm trying to send an eRx to the pharmacy and have no issues until I get to the screen for actual transmission, where I have 2 options - to print a prescription and to transmit. If I click "print" - it prints and appears in OD as a prescription to the pt. as it should. If I click "transmit" -...

Derek,
You are right. The exception appears to be only when running the OD under unprivileged user.
Which is the way I hope it should be working. Looks like a permission issue to me. How do I fix this behavior?

Re: Appointment QR code idea.

I think it's an interesting idea. I just see 2 things that may become an obstacle. 1. You have to display it somewhere, and it cannot be a screen of the frontdesk desktop. Something like a screen-pad, like a mouse pad which is capable of show output. 2. The patient will need to have a scanner app on...
