Using Version: "blank"
Just noticed that on my server when I click on Update, where it usually shows the current version #, it is blank.
On all my workstations it shows the current version. This was the case both before & after updating from 15.2.12 to 15.2.28
Is it anything about which to be concerned?

Re: Bill insurance on crown seat date
I think my solution is the best. This may sound complicated, but it really isn't. Let's say your fee is $1000. You want the patient to pay half on the prep date and the other half on the seat date. I have a dummy code for C&B prep (could be N9991 or anything), and the fee for it is half or $500. I h...

Re: What are you guys using for data encryption?
Justin, great posts but very technical. My head is spinning.
Could you perhaps give us a synopsis of the important points in layman's terms?
What are you recommending everyone do?

Re: Provider vs Employee
If you only set up your hygienist as an employee and not as a provider, you won't be able to track his/her production. You have to assign a hygienist (provider) to the appointment/procedure to track his/her production separate from the doctor's production. I set up my hygienists as both employees an...

Re: Provider vs Employee
You are correct in your understanding that a User account can only be either an Employee or Provider account. For your hygienists, using an Employee account will suffice. That will give your employees time clock abilities. Audit trail will record the employee account credentials when the hygienists...

Re: Free SMS Texting with Google Voice in OD

Re: Question on Building an advanced metrics query
Kevin, that is a really awesome report. Tremendous amount of information all in one place. What do you do with all that information? BTW, have you looked at the graphical dashboard in OD? It has everything I'm looking for. I find it easier to look at than a spreadsheet of numbers. It shows you trends.

Re: Problem with statement layout & window envelopes
I have had the same problem with the envelopes we have. I have to print my statements to a .pdf and then manually move the return address & the patient address over on the page before sending it to my printer. A painful work around. Sometimes to save time we just print a label and stick it over the ...
