Marking Patient as VIP (same-day only)

In an effort to reduce cancellations, we place chronic-no-show-disease patients on a "VIP" list, only allowing them to make same-day appointments if we have time, or inactivating them outright. How do you mark these patients as VIPs so we can quickly spot the VIP status when they call in? (such as w...

I'm terrible with names so I need the patient's name displayed in large font like above.
This is the registry script that I use (win7-10). v20.3 broke the native windows setting though.

I have my title bar resized to font size 24 so I can see the selected patient's name nice and big on screen. V20.3 seems to make the title bar a static size, which broke the big font size setting. Is there an way to revert back to the old behavior? Thanks

Most dental offices don't need windows server. Save your money and go with consumer windows. I suggest windows 8.1 Pro. Better yet, look into a "virtual server" by searching for posts on here.

Re: Medical History

For purposes of updating the Medical History, I would go to Forms and copy over the last existing MH form. By copying, that new form now has a new date. Then the patient just has to sign. I remember another doc bringing up the fact that if you keep copying over forms like this for updating at every ...

Re: Progress Notes question

I just attach all performed procedures into the appointment and set complete. Then switch over to progress notes, select the last black item to appear, and do autonotes there. Re: Hardware, Software & Network Configs

Truecrypt 1) You can use it to encrypt your entire drive (downside: not feasible for backup purposes due to big file size, safeguards against someone stealing your server) or 2) Encrypt just the directories you want (ie OD database, X-rays, etc.) then when you first start the server, you'd enter a p...

Re: Hardware, Software & Network Configs

Remote Desktop for Mac allows for easy management of all workstations and monitoring of all operatories using built-in webcams My All-in-One computers in the operatories have built-in webcams also. Is it legal/unethical to monitor via webcam if patients don't know it? I mean if I were to stick a ca...

Re: version 7.8 and above exception

For the life of me I can't find how to turn off trace. The only thing resembling trace is the checkbox "Define TRACE constant" that is found in the properties of each individual project/Build tab, which doesn't make a difference I'm afraid. Am I overlooking something here? VS2010. Thanks
