I am looking to edit some of my insurance carriers to allow me to switch from sending paper Pre determinations via snail mail to submitting them electronically via Open Dental. All of my insurance carriers were set up when I migrated over to open dental years ago but I am unable to edit them to click on the box to add a checkmark to the spot where it asks if they can be sent electronically because it is "greyed out".
For Canadian users, when I go "Edit" a "Carrier" there is a box where I can check saying "Is a CDA net member" and from there it shows many options to send electronically or not and those are greyed out. I called in to Open Dental and they had no idea how to change it. Even if I was to create a new carrier and check off that box, everything still greyed out and doesn't let me click off that box. Any idea how I can make it so it is not greyed out?
