Building without CDT codes
Hi, I'm in New Zealand so not using the ADA codes. I'd like to compile the software (so I can make a change to SMS handling) but I'm running into an issue that it can't find CDT. That's true, I don't have the codes. Is there a way to build without them? Or some other workaround, e.g. a stub version?

Re: Google calendar sync
My google calendar syncing is duplicating and in some point it stop working because of too many schedules. I am using mopensoft and simpleybook.me. The calendar which is two way syncing with simplybook.me is only duplicating. The others look fine. So I think it is something from simplybook.me and g...

Re: emailing progress notes
Yes I'm in New Zealand. I'll work on getting something set up for my own practice now. I've practiced here since 1998, and so far I have never received any referrals, patient notes etc that were encrypted from other dental practitioners here, and the same with my own personal correspondence coming f...

Re: emailing progress notes
Thanks -Believe it or not we don't have a requirement for email to be encrypted here, but I'm sure it will be coming at some point.

Re: emailing progress notes
Ah ok thanks -I didn't think of printing to PDF. When I right-click on the progress notes the menu has print, but no PDF option is available. Do you know how to do this?

Hi rhaber123,
Just wanted to say thanks for the detailed instructions.
I had got as far as mopensoft installed, but had picked a different provider and got stuck. Following your steps was really easy and it's working well

Missing teeth don't disappear
I can't find the answer to this anywhere. I've recently installed the full version of OD. Testing things out, when I select teeth that are missing in the missing teeth tab, the (can't remember the official name!) round thing disappears but the tooth graphic remains. I can't work out what to change t...

Re: Advanced insurance setup question
Thank you so much -I don't think I would have been able to work that out myself. I'll post it when completed and hopefully someone else can benefit too.

Re: Advanced insurance setup question
ok thanks.
I thought ACC should be a co-pay or out of network schedule but wasn't sure which -Have I got that wrong?
I'm hoping I can share the codes at the end somehow with other users here.

Advanced insurance setup question
Hi there, I'm in New Zealand and I'm wondering how I would set this up. We don't have insurance like in the USA so insurance terms are very unfamiliar, but there is a government scheme here where if you are injured in an accident a set fee is paid per procedure towards your dental treatment. It is c...

Statement notes and planning appointments.
Hi, I'm starting a new practice and seriously looking at Open Dental but the big thing that is holding me back is the inability to have notes printing out with the patient invoice. I'm in New Zealand. Almost all treatment is private here, and I really need to be able to add explanatory notes to proc...

Re: New Zealand Users
Hi Jon,
I was just wondering how things went with Open Dental. I'm considering using it for a new practice in New Zealand.
Did it work in ok with ACC or dental benefits (if you saw those patients?)
