Why is Open Dental not opening properly?

Open Dental fails to open or freezes during startup on my system. Has anyone experienced this issue and found a fix?

I’ve seen this happen sometimes. Try running Open Dental as administrator, make sure your Windows and .NET framework are up to date, and temporarily disable antivirus/firewall. If it still freezes, repairing or reinstalling the program usually helps.
