Version 5.6.8. Insurance payments are now being dated the day of procedure, and not the day received. I thought this was part of the new account module. I liked the new way, dating the insurance payments the date received.

hum...it still shows that payment made on the date the payment comes in on mine (beta v5.6.

Now, it does show this same amt on the claim date too, but just for info. The actual subtraction from the account is the date the payment is received.

If I have seen the patient for more dental work, and there are procedures posted after the procedures for which I received the insurance money, then the insurance payment gets posted to the "procedure date".
If there are no more procedures or entries posted in the account and I receive an insurance check for work done let's say 2 weeks ago, then the insurance money gets posted on "today's date"!!
I don't think it is supposed to work that way.

Not sure what you mean. This one sounds subtle, and it's hard to know what you're describing without watching you do it.
