I just updated from 5.2.16 to 5.2.17, yet versions 5.3-5.6 are available. Should we wait for these versions to come out of beta or are they available for use now? What are the pros/cons of doing this.

Dr. Sparks,

Previously, you used to differentiate between 'Beta' and 'Production' version very clearly but indicating the same against each of the releases.

Looks like recently, you have stopped indicating 'Production' when it is not Beta. Is that right ?

Wondering if you can go back to indicating when a release is 'Development', 'Beta' or 'Production'.

If it doesn't say (beta) after it on that page, then it's production. Version 5.5 has been out of beta for a while now. There is no advantage to waiting to upgrade to 5.5, and certainly no advantage to first jumping to some intermediate version. 5.6 is only for users who can accept a few bugs.

When I updated on Friday, it only let me go to 5.2.17. How do I update to 5.5 then if that is recommended?

Prior to version 5.4 you have to call support and get the update code. After 5.4 changes have been made to the program that eliminated the need for calling support. The update button will ask if you want to go to the next released version or the latest beta version. Hope that wasn't too confusing.

So I should call in and get a update code so that I can go straight to Ver. 5.5?
