Payment DAte / Proceedure Date.

We have an office that is tracking the ins. writeoffs very closely and we found the reports to be off - it was being caused by the payment date being set as the proceedure date instead of the payment entry date. We ran the utils yesterday to correct it and it corrected 64 of them the reports were crrect at 11am yesterday. by 10pm and then this morning there were alot incorrect again and back to the proceedure date (15) we found a few of them and they were patients that were not even in yesterday or today and no one was even in their account. they are on version 5.5.11
Any thoughts?

I think they are not creating their insurance checks. (step 2) So there's not actually a payment object yet in the db to lock the date down.

Jordan,
We verified that the checks are being produced. and since Thursday there are 9 more incidents found when running utils.

We are still seeing the same problem - we now have been looking at other office databases and have also found that when we run the utilities we are getting the same results - we get "Claim payments with mismatched dates fixed: 1661" on every database we run utils on. Most offices do not care or notice but offices that have multiple providers and pay on collections find this to be very troublesome.
Can anyone help shed some light on this issue.

Just found it last night. It's fixed now.
