Is there a way to set a maximum time limit to when a confirmation is allowed to be marked confirmed. I do not want to the appointment to be marked confirmed more than 1 day in advanced.

If you are referring to the manual process of highlighting the appointment and clicking the Confirmed status, then there is no way to specify a time frame for when that can be done. Once automated eConfirmations becomes available, you can set it up to send the confirmation message out to the patient in a specific time window prior to the appointment if you sign up for that eService.
