End of this year our dental software will no longer support Windows XP. This means that we have to upgrade to Windows 10. Now we are going to have a compatibility problem between our Gendex Visualix ehd X-ray chip (VixWin Platinum) and Windows 10. We weren't able to find a driver online so that it will be supported in Windows 10. Has anybody found a solution to this problem?

Dexis is also having problems with Windows 10, even on the latest. They may add support one day, but until then.... use Windows 7.
http://www.gendex.com/filebin/pdf/032-0 ... _Guide.pdf I am sure you have seen this, just throwing it out here.
Also.... there still may be a way to make it work, for starters, I would COMPLETELY disable UAC for testing.

You might be able to use the task scheduler to start gendex programs as elevated instead if you want UAC enabled and find everything works.

You don't necessarily have to upgrade to Win 10

Problem is, I can only find computers with Windows 10 preinstalled. But when I can find a way to deinstall Windows 10, and reinstall 7, I would be good?

Unfortunately I don't think there's a way to "uninstall" Windows 10 to a previous version unless you had that previous version installed prior. Just a quick search of
http://www.newegg.com for desktop computers shows that there are many available that have Win 7/Win 8 pre-installed. So, I'm not sure where you're getting your computers but it's certainly possible to get some without Win 10.

Hello to all of you.
First time here in this forum.
I installed drivers and correct software in order to use my gender visualix ehd sensor.
The problem is that in the exact moment I start PC, the gendex usb starts to "disconnect"/"connect" every 2 secs.
Impossible to work with it.
I have to use it with Windows XP =/
Anyone with the same problem?
Best regards,
Pedro
