Automated appointment reminders:
•Send automated reminders for scheduled appointments using e-mail or integrated texting
in version 15.4.6, in setup , appointments, recall, appt reminder:
any examples on how to use the automated reminders?
do you have an instruction webpage ?

We're still working on documenting all the new features in v15.4. As you can see, there are a lot.

Hi there,
Wishing team open Dental a very happy and prosperous New year.
Using OD version 15.4.14
I am able to send confirmation mails successfully by from to Appointment list -confirmation-email Pathway.
Though I have set automated appointment reminders in OD it does not seem to fire at the right time.
I hope I am not missing something

Yes, we're in the middle of fixing a tricky bug with the system. It should be fixed today and released sometime this week. Out of curiosity, do you have Clinics enabled?

Yes of course I have clinics enabled.
but its not throwing errors instead no reminders are sent at all, as though the feature was non existent.
Hope you look into it

The fix has been committed and will be released with version 15.4.15. Hopefully this will fix the issues you are having. If not, please let us know!

Thanks for your prompt reply -Using OD 15.4.18 and still the same, the appointment reminders are not getting dispatched automatically.

We've tested the feature internally and it does work on our end, but there are still a number of things that could contribute to not sending reminders. Things to check are if your email is set up correctly and if the eConnector is installed and running correctly. It would probably be easiest to give us a call so we can help you troubleshoot (503-363-5432) and get it up and going for ya.
