embezzling

I have been using Open Dent for a few years and we are quite pleased.

Before switching to OpenDent, we used MOGO.
We had a front desk employee who embezzled by signing over insurance checks to her name.

Our "slam dunk" evidence was that MOGO created a "changed transaction" log that made a record of every account transaction that she changed.

She ended up pleading guilty in court. She almost spent some time in prison.

Does OpenDent have such a transaction log?

Thanks,

ARRGGHH! These stories drive me nuts. Does *anyone* go to jail for embezzling from health professionals? A woman in our town was convicted of stealing $500K from a hospital and didn't spend a day in jail. Gordon Christiansen told a story of a lady who was doing the same thing to him and filed a grievance for getting fired for it. She won. It wasn't until she tried to run him down in the parking lot that the state decided that he was justified for terminating her employment.

Bounce a couple of checks at walmart and it's a totally different story.
