We are having a problem tracking who changes appointments from left message to confirmed, etc. If they actually open the appt up and change it its status than its recorded in the audit trail but if someone changes it from the quick menu by just highlighting the appt and using the buttons on the right side its not recorded in the audit trail. Can we change this?

I totally agree! I have been frustrated with the limitations of the audit trail in open dental since I started using the program. Definitely the Achilles Heel of the Program.

That would be a pretty easy thing to add to a plugin if OD is not going to do anything about it directly. I don't have time to incorporate everyone's request, but might be willing to make some of them happen ...
