Preview in scans.

Hello everyone,
I'm looking for the solution of the problem that appears during scanning.
I have a scanner Canon MG3112 that is attached to a workstation by usb cable.
Upon clicking on either of the "scan" buttons in OD I used to see a preview window where I could crop on the element to be scanned. Very handy for something smaller than a letter format. Like an insurance card, so you don't have to scan the whole page to capture just the area 3x4.
I am not certain what and when exactly happened, but now this preview is skipped and by clicking the button the scanner starts scanning full area of the page.
I have another usb-attached printer (brother 8890 dwn) that works the way I want. So the problem is probably not in the OD setup, but somewhere in the printing profiles or Windows setup.
Can you advice me where to look for the solution?

If you are not getting your Scanner Options window, it could be because that option is not enabled in Open Dental for this workstation.
Go to Setup>Imaging
There is the option to 'Show Scanner Options Window'
If that option is not selected, select it
That *may* be the issue, but if it isn't, then you are correct in your assumption that the problem is outside of Open Dental.
