DO OD HAVE THE FACILITY TO SEND RECALL THRU E-MAIL, SMS AND PRINT POST CARD? UP TO NOW I PRINT EVERYTHING, BUT DO YOU HAVE THE CHOICE TO PICK PT. WITH E-MAIL TO SEND THE RECALL INSTEAD OF POST CARD. IF SO WILL YOU GET A NOTE IN YOUR PROGRESS NOTE OF THE WAY IT WAS SEND AS IT DOES WITH POSTCARDS? HOW IS DONE IN OD?

We send recalls by e-mail and postcards. We prefer e-mails because we have been getting a better response from these patients than from those that we send postcards. I don't know about SMS. You will get an entry in your progress notes either way, and it specifies the method used.

We are wanting to move to email recalls rather than send all post cards. The problem we are finding is that when you email for a family it only goes to the guarantor (or primary subscribers) email. What do you do if you have both Mom (primary subscriber) and Dads email address but not the 2 young kids? It seems there are 2 options:
1) Send a family email for all 4 people to the Moms email address
2) Send individual emails to Mom and Dad but then you dont get to include the children
Are there any other options, or tips that others are using to send emails?
Any ways to selectively email and selectively send post cards?
How does bulk emailing of recalls work?
What if you havent selected the prefered recall method? Will that affect your ability to send email recalls?

Have you try sending email via RecallList interface?
