Just updated. What happened to "Prognosis" in the Procedure Info window?
I only see it in the Chart Module window.
How do you change the prognosis after you did a procedure?

That window keeps growing and is running out of space. Prognosis got moved to the Misc tab towards the bottom of the Procedure Info window, down by the Insurnace Estimates and Payments section.

I find that odd when there is plenty of open space between "Priority" and the "E-claim Note".
"Out of sight out of mind". No one will notice it and no one will use it from the Misc tab.

Lots of things on that window are hidden in certain situations due to not being relevant and in an attempt to reduce confusion. The open space you are talking about really contains a Prosthesis Replacement section.

Jason,
Let me ask you something. Click on Priority and view the drop down list. The widest choice is "No Priority" at 11 letters, with lots of empty space to the right of it. Couldn't you put Prognosis next to it instead of under it, making each field half as long?
I am kinda disappointed that I upgraded. Between this and the new behavior of "Make Appts" you took away (or made more difficult) features that I became accustomed to and liked. I hope I don't find anything else I don't like.

The Priority combo box is user defined in Setup > Definitions > Treat' Plan Priorities so there is a possibility that No Priority isn't the longest option. We try to step on as few feet as possible when we're adding new features making Open Dental even better, but sometimes things that we think aren't used quite as often ARE in fact used frequently. Jordan is a really good boss and a responsible man so I'd image once he reads about how strongly these changes are affecting you guys he will address them. Please, bare with us for the moment as we are in the middle of moving to a new location and it's pretty crazy around here.

No problem. I understand. Just hope it doesn't get lost in the shuffle.
Congratulations and good luck on the move.

I agree that it's disappointing to have that moved to the Misc tab.
I also wanted to report that when treatment planning, the prognosis should really be cleared after each procedure is added. Right now if you select a prognosis from the dropdown it stays there - and there's no way to clear it without having a dummy blank prognosis as the first option in the dropdown.
