scanned EOB image size question

Why when I scan an EOB (using the new feature in version 12.0 and up) does my image appear so small on the screen as compared to the size of scans in the image module? If I try to zoom in enought to make it readable then the whole EOB does not fit on the screen. I use NEA and need to use their screen shot tool to upload the image. I just looked at an uploaded EOB on the NEA website and there is no way that anyone at the insurance company will be able to read what I uploaded.

I don't know. I haven't run across that. The default zoom for any scan is to fit to the screen. And we don't have percentage zoom yet. It's not small because of extra white space due to the way it scanned, is it? For example, did it scan to an 8 1/2 x 14? One trick you might try is to crop it slightly.

opps..somehow I missed your response to this thread till today...

each of my claims when scanned appear on the screen undersized and not fit to the screen (only when scannig EOB's and not when scanning thru the image module)...they take up less than one-fourth of the screen..when I hit the zoom once I can barely see the edge of the claim on the screen anymore and have to drag the image back to the center of the screen..doesn't matter how much print or white space is on the claim...the claims are standard size papers..happens with both my flatbed Microtek scanner and my new Epson multipage duplex scanner...when scanning in EOB's I do not see a cropping tool on that screen...so far I have not had any problems from insurance companies concerning the image quality over NEA....
