recall cards

I have been printing post cards 2-3 weeks in advance of the appointments. I can remember before that when you printed them, it gave you the option to choose that a card was sent. Now when we print them, the option is gone and it doesnt show up on the comlog that a card was sent. When patients miss their appointment and say that they never received a card- we have no way of proving it. Is this something that was updated? What can I do other than to manually put a comlog entry that a card was sent?

I'm not 100% sure on the current behavior without taking time to research it, but you might be confusing recall behavior with confirmation behavior. If you still think the behavior has changed, I would need to know what version you were one. I would also need to know exactly what sequence of buttons you used to print the cards.

Just looked, it is the confirmation cards. We would like to have a comlog post for confirmation cards sent-- we did it manually this time. We have problems at times with patients claiming they never got the card, email or phone calls. lol

I just added clarification for this behavior in the manual. It's by design. It's also feature request #1035.
