being a gadget freak is getting expensive. this claims it wakes from hibernate in 3 seconds or cold boot in 15. looks a little over double ipad thickness and 2.2 pounds, but i think id much prefer this over a slate. Im sure there will be compatible stylii for signatures.

Curious is anyone has tried this tablet or any ones similar. We would really like to find a Ipad like tablet to use open dental for contracts, health history, signatures, etc.

I love my Fujitsu Lifebook. It's not thin, but it's very functional. Hospitals use a lot of hardware like this; they certainly don't use iPads. Intel is finally putting out some chips that will allow Windows tablets in an iPad form factor later this year.

I have a T580 (10 inch). I love the compact size when traveling. But for in an office, I would go with a bigger one. One thing I love about Fujitsu is that they have a variety of models with white keyboards. Why anybody would make a keyboard in any color other than white is a total mystery to me.
