pontics not showing for teeth when missing {PICNIC}

this is a minor nuisance, and i haven't spent any time looking for the "why", but when a bridge is planned (or completed, existing, etc.) and the pontic tooth is missing, then the pontic graphic is missing from the chart display (seemingly in all graphic modes).

if i mark the tooth as "not missing" then voila! the pontic comes back (along with the tooth)

pretty sure it works the same way if the tooth has been extracted, but i don't want to invalidate the extraction procedures just to find out.

probably some configuration setting, but if somebody else has already found this (and fixed it) then i'd appreciate getting the recipe from you.

Thanks!

I would need to know what version you are on.

there are always new ways to be stupid, and i have discovered many of them......

(ahem).. the solution was to change the paint type for pontic codes from "crown" to "bridge".

(problem in chair, not in computer)
