Hello all:

Wanted to tell you all about this little software we use in our office. Its called message pal and gives bluenote communicator a run for their money.

For 10.00$ per computer you send setup custom buttons that allow you to send messages throught the computer network in the office.

I have custom buttons set for "Hygien Check", "PIck up extension 500" , "Patient Arrived".

Works so nice its amazing. And for $10.00 per computer, i'm sticking with it.

Bluenote is like $700.00 Smoke signals is about 1200.

You realize that our software already does this, right? http://www.open-dent.com/manual/messages.html I'm guessing ours just doesn't have the right mix of features for you?

Correct: now I haven't used it in open dental. but basically a window pops up with pre made buttons that have specific request and replys.

I'lll have to read how it works in open dental.

Ours does that and more.
