Saving letters in A-Z

Ours is a perio office and we do a LOT of correspondence to the referring offices. The letters feature is good but I usually have to edit each letter with particulars about the case. If these could be saved to A-Z when printing, we would not have to print, copy and place in the paper file -or more cumbersome to scan it and import. It would be one step closer to paperless. I can't help but think it would be good for most specialty offices
