mask database user password

Post by ugach »

How about masking database user password with ******. I am trying to implement security for general user and admin user. They will have different database logins too. Admin user will have root privileges on database. It would nice if you can block the typing of password from inquisitive eyes.

It already does. You probably just need to upgrade.

I am using 6.6.26.0. It still does show the typed password. I just noticed 6.7.23. Does this version mask the password?

Here is my screen capture.
