What headset are you using for hands-free probing?
What headset are you using for hands-free probing?
Here's an update. I got the Dragonspeaking 9 preferred program and installed it. I used the corded headset that came in the box and it works great for charting probing depths. I bought a Bluetooth headset and Dongle but my computer (XP pro) cannot find the headset. My IT guy couldn't help me either. He said I need to buy a Bluetooth microphone to make this work but I'm sure I read on this forum that people were using regular bluetooth headsets. What do you think?

Ive always gotten the best results from USB/digital headsets. The one I am using now is from Office Depot - Cyber Acoustuc abt $40)
I dictate my treatment notes in to Dragon and am 'generally' very happy with it. Sometimes, DNS does frustrate me. I have read that the BT headsets do work well, however, and considered it. But I always find my BT headset losing charge and I get tired of having to remember to plug it in. The poorest results for recognition are from traditional stereo plug type headsets.
