Quickbooks is killing me. What used to be a $250 expense every 2-3 years to stay current so that I could sync with my bank has mutated into the annual subscription model that started at $550 the first year, went to $995 a year after that, and now they want $1195 this year.
That's crazy.
It's obvious that they want to drive users to Quickbooks Online, but I don't want to go that way.
I've searched on the forum for anyone using the built-in Accounting tool, but most of the posts are 15-20 years old. Are there any users of this feature out there, and if so, do you recommend it?
