Another eRx problem
Another eRx problem
I am running into a new problem with eRx.
I have about 12 DEA numbers. eRx is set up with just one of them, so that I don't have to pay for 12 accounts. eRx sends out that DEA with each eRx, but it uses the selected clinic address instead of the address tied to that DEA. Apparently pharmacy software has recently started to cross check the DEA number with the address, and pharmacies are refusing to fill my scheduled Rx because the address listed on the eRx doesn't match what the address the DEA has on file for that DEA number. How do I resolve this?

Re: Another eRx problem
A new preference was recently added in version 17.3. In the Chart Module Preferences, see the preference toward the bottom which says "Erx use selected clinic from Clinics menu instead of selected patient's default clinic."

Re: Another eRx problem
Thanks Derek.
However, that causes another issue. While I go to multiple clinics, I really only want one master appointment book view for all of them. When I set the preference you mentioned, I have to have that particular clinic's appointment book selected in order for eRx to set that clinic's parameters for itself. Unless I'm missing something? Or would it this be a feature request?

Re: Another eRx problem
I just got done approving FR #6409 "Allow providers to have different DEA numbers by clinic."
The best thing about a boolean is even if you are wrong, you are only off by a bit.

Re: Another eRx problem
Hate to nag, but any progress on this?
Walgreen's has been refusing to fill eRx because the DEA number that is sent with the eRx is the one I signed up with NewCropRx with, but eRx is sending that DEA with the address of the office I'm currently in. Walgreen's is refusing to fill the Rx's because of the mismatch. And I have 12 DEA numbers, so signing up with NewCropRx for 12 provider accounts would get kinda pricey

No progress has been made on it. If you like you can "Expedite Your Feature Requests":
