i've tried to remotely login but cant seem to get the signatures to work correctly. The screen just moves around rather than signing?????? Jordan was supposed to get an iPad to look into it.

I don't want to give false information, but there were some discussions in regards to the legality of digital signatures using anything other than a pen (stylus). If I am wrong, please let me know.
There are apps for the iphone/ipad that would allow for signature capture. I would look into it as my family has gone crazy over apple products, but the legal stuff in the back of my mind is holding me back from researching into it.

Be very aware to not waste your money buying stylus pens for the iphone/ipad.
Reason: they are capacitive touch screens, must use a finger for electric conductance, and special capacitive styluses are rare!

If you do go out and buy some styluses that actually work for the iphone/ipad, please let me know.
I bought touch screen computers for my operatories (surface wave acoustics), still having a hard time buying styluses that would work well. Wasted a couple hundred bucks buying useless chopsticks.
I have since resorted to having a kiosk for patient forms, along with topaz pads for the kiosk and the ops like Jordan suggested. Works without stress.

Just my two cents. If something else works well for you, please share

I am sure there exists a stylus that will work. But can somebody detail the IPAD-OD integration procedure or point me to a thread where it is explained step by step.

I dont have it, but I would put my money on the Pogo for iPad working on the ipad.

amazon reviews are generally positive, with the lower reviews seeming to be about petty things.

Don't use an ipad. Use a Windows Tablet. Big difference.

agreed... we use a fujitsu stylistic and that works well for signatures... we only use it for that tho, no data entry. the tablet is too annoying for data entry.
