I can't edit forms in OD!

When I try to edit forms by double clicking on them in Visual Studio 2008 I get an error message in the screen where the form should appear:

To prevent possible data loss before loading the designer, the following errors must be resolved:"

I don't know. That's a new one on me. Maybe you have a bad download?

Does it have anything to do with the fact that I'm downloading only the head? BTW it does build successfully and I've downloaded it to two different folders. Here is a picture of my SNV checkout settings:
