Version 6.9 Compile error

Hi I just downloaded the new 6.9 to look over the program and when I compile it errors on missing microsoft dll's for the directX. Do I need to download the DirectX SDK for these or am I missing something? Thanks.

Yes. You are definitely on the bleeding edge. Direct X is a requirement for development. Use DirectX 9.0 SDK Update - (August 2005), size 170 MB.

We are going to try everything humanly possible to not make it a requirement for end users.
