A little chart bug

Post by wjstarck » Mon Aug 24, 2009 12:59 am

Today an implant was incorrectly treatment planned for area #22 (it should have been #23). As I has always done in the past, I just double clicked on the incorrect tooth # and changed it to the correct one which of course moves the implant graphic to the correct area. We then set the procedure complete. Now when I try to double click the chart note to edit it, I get the unhandled exception listed below. Thanks, version is 6.7.12(B)

PS: Is there a "safe" way to manually go the the db and delete this completed procedure? Fortunately, in this case none of the procedures are tied to an insurance claim.

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Well, it needs to be run in debug mode to figure out what, exactly, the null reference is referring to. Normally, the customer would send us their database so that we could run it here. But you are also able to do it and report what line it's crashing on.
