Loss of feature - ins remaining

Post by drtech » Fri Jul 31, 2009 11:03 pm

Jordan,
I just upgraded to v 6.7.6 and noticed the box I put in a few years ago that lists how much ins is left for the family in the account is no longer functional. Is this something I need to fix as you had to disable doing the webserver stuff or just a bug?

Yes, if you want it back, then you will need to fix it. We made many changes to benefits, and trying to maintain that code was just too much.

I would think everyone would find this very useful, but maybe we are the only office that wants to know how much ins is left when looking at the account :p

If I remember, you said we can't commit anymore? Is this right or can we get that turned back on or how do you want me to handle this?

It will probably just be a fairly small single block of code. Tortoise lets you create a patch text file after making your changes. You can look at the patch file to make sure it's concise and does not include a bunch of irrelevant accidental changes. Then, email the patch file to me. Tortoise will let me apply the patch. The patch needs to be concise because I will need to manually make the changes to either 6.7 or 6.8, depending on which version your patch is.
