Routing Slips

Post by kapricorn » Wed Mar 11, 2009 8:40 am

Is the routing slip still scheduled to be added to Sheets and when? Also when added can there be variable fields available for the next few appointments scheduled?

Looks like both of those requests exist and are getting some votes.

Anyone have a problem with us posting a modified routing slip that adds:

1. Birthday of patient
2.) Birthdates of other family members
3.) Recall information for all recall types for the patient including previous, due and scheduled dates)
4.) Remaining ins benefits
5.) insurance frequency and notes
6.) Possibly Scheduled appointment dates of all family members

This is a modification we needed to satisfy a few offices while waiting on the sheets version to be completed.

That's fine. You may have trouble making the commit since we have turned off all external commit privileges in an attempt to keep the code more secure and stable. So once you are happy with it, create a patch and send it by email.

We had a dozen users with commit privileges, and only one making active commits. We found a few unexpected "features" that snuck in somehow but were of poor quality. We were concerned that it poses a security risk because there is a chance, however small, that someone could commit a "back door" or some hardcoded value that would put patient data at risk. Since only one of the twelve was actively committing, we disabled the other eleven for now.
