Prescription Format in MA

Post by mvoschin » Tue May 13, 2008 8:19 am

One of our pharmacists requested that our prescriptions would follow the guidelines posted at:
http://www.mass.gov/Eeohhs2/docs/dph/regs/105cmr721.pdf
721.020 (2) Page 2

Is there a way to implement that in the prescription when printing?

Once we move to our future "sheets" feature, you will be able to add anything you want to your Rx. I've never seen such specific wording requirements before. Until we move to sheets, the only quick solution I can think of is to have a stamp made that the staff can use immediately after printing.
