Windows update caused problems
Windows update caused problems
A windows update that rolled out in January 2019 disconnected one of my workstations from the LAN. I tried to find a solution for hours and found that the problem is an update that installs .net version 4.7. The solution was to uninstall the update from Windows Update and then stop the updates until I find a better solution. If anybody has found a better solution please let me know.

Re: Windows update caused problems
I also had a network connectivity issue 1/25/2019 on just one workstation which was counterintuitively solved by running Win updates. There is chatter that MS has issued more recent updates to fix what they broke in previous ones. This was on one of my Win7 machines. Which v are you on?
