Admin Account not in Admin Group

Admin Account not in Admin Group

Post by teethdood » Tue Apr 03, 2018 8:12 pm

My Admin account for some reason (or accidentally done by me) was grouped in the Regular Users group, so I was locked out of a lot of settings. Luckily I was able to log into an old account in the Admin group and got the "Admin" account back its Admin Group status. It seems to me that this could potentially lock some databases up with no true Admin account. Perhaps there should be a set requirement that there be at least one account in the Admin group, or that the "Admin" account cannot be moved to another user group.

There is a requirement that at least one user has the Security Admin permission. You likely had another user in the Admin group or a different group had the Security Admin permission.
