cannot create a file when that file exist

We claim electronically for the longest time and now this message "cannot create a file when that file exist" suddenly popped up
and finally shows an error message "send error". Has anybody encountered this before?

What version of Open Dental are you using? What clearinghouse are you using?

I have version 11.0.53.0 . Our clearing house is Emdeon.

Look in your emdeon output folder as specified in the clearinghouse setup. Delete the claim file.

I already have done this even before I have seen the solution posted previously but have not corrected the issue.

We haven't changed the file creation code for quite some time, have you tried running Open Dental as Administrator? You might have better luck calling us so that we can get connected to the computer and troubleshoot in detail.
