Quebec (ACDQ) fee schedule

Would it be possible to add the Quebec's dental association (ACDQ) Fee schedule to OD? For the past few years, I've been importing it from another PMS we use together with OD, but I'm planning to phase it out this year. Thanks.

I think we'll be able to add the Québec fee schedules assuming there is no complications with their copyrights, etc.

The thing I find troublesome is that Québec seems to have their own unique set of procedure codes which we do not currently package with our releases. Did you manually enter all the procedure codes that were pertinent to your practice? Or do I have it wrong and Québec in fact uses the same codes as the other Provinces?

Thanks for your reply. I'm not familiar with other province's procedures codes, but I wouldn't be surprised if Quebec's codes were different...

I did not enter the bulk of the procedure codes manually. Back in 2007, I prepared an excel file based on the procedurecode and fee tables structure and populated it using a copy of the relevant tables from the other software we used at the time. I then uploaded these 2 tables in OD using Navicat. Every year since, I manually enter the new codes in OD and mark obsolete those to be removed. I then prepare again the new fee table in Excel and I import it in OD.

Fair enough. As of right now I can't guarantee that the Québec fees are going to be included with our software but we are in the process of purchasing them and looking into the legalities of distributing them. I'm pretty sure it will be included if it's anything like Ontario and British Columbia.

I'm having a hard time finding a website to purchase the official Quebec fee schedule. Where do you get it from?

I believe you will need to deal with the ACDQ (Quebec's dental association) directly. Here is the link to their contact page: http://www.acdq.qc.ca/en/contact-us/. On the member side of their website, they provide a list of approved software vendors, but no guidelines on how to become one.
