Post by jtlefty » Thu Dec 20, 2007 9:14 pm

Hey all,

I am getting an unhandled exception when I try to access progress notes or images. OD version is 5.3.24.0. on Vista Ultimate 64. Any help would be appreciated.

The error is:

Thanks for the heads up. It's due to the signature pad hardware. I'll put it down as a bug.

I don't have signature pad hardware, though.

I just wanted to clarify my hardware setup. Anything to help resolve the issue. I enter most of the treatment notes with this workstation.

Thanks.

I think the only way to get it resolved for sure is for us to purchase a computer with that operating system and try to duplicate the problem.

This wasn't a problem until my update to 5.3.24 if I remember correctly. It could be something on my end. I'll test some things and get back to you.

Instead of a new computer, why not just install the os in a dual-boot configuration on an existing computer?

We purchase new computers on a regular basis anyway. I'm a big fan of having multiple computers. For example, one for the assistant, one for the Dr to view radiographs, one for the schedule, and one for the patient.

Yeah, we've got a lot of computers running around here also...

I did a fresh install of vista 64 on another disk and installed nothing but OD 5.4.18 and got the same result. That may or may not help much.
